We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Independent Financial Adviser s (IFA) to join our team on a self-employed basis. As an IFA, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and secure their financial future.


Responsibilities:


• Client Consultation:

o Conduct thorough financial assessments to understand clients' financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance.

o Engage in effective and clear communication to explain complex financial concepts to clients.


• Financial Planning:

o Develop personalised financial plans based on clients' needs and objectives. Advising them on pensions, investments and tax planning.

o Mortgage/protection optional advice areas or can refer internally.


• Product Knowledge:

o Stay updated on financial products, investment opportunities, and industry regulations.

o Recommend suitable financial products and services that align with clients' goals.


• Market Research:

o Analyse financial markets and economic trends to make informed investment recommendations.

o Stay informed about changes in legislation and industry standards.


• Compliance and Regulation:

o Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

o Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.


• Client Relationship Management:

o Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.

o Provide ongoing support and advice to address clients' changing financial needs.


• Business Development:

o Generate new business through networking, referrals, introducers and other business development activities.

o Expand and maintain a client base through effective marketing strategies.


Qualification & Candidate Requirements:


• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as an Independent Financial Adviser.

• Must hold CAS status and have an active SPS in place.

• Qualified to minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and regulations.

• Some client assets to bring with them on joining (£3m+). If no assets, then a demonstratable strong network / lead generation source already in place.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• As a Fintech, you must be comfortable using technology, including web-based CRMs, diaries, microsoft teams & sharepoint, zoom, docusign, cloud-based task management / advice portals, digital factfinds, risk profiles and KYC processes.

• Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently.

• Track record of new business development in previous roles.


Benefits & Compensation:


• Very competitive, commission only compensation structure, no retainer or joining fee or short-term financial help available upon joining. Further details below.

• Full admin, research & paraplanning support included. Our aim is to free up the adviser's time to speak to prospects, clients and develop their client bank.

• Access to our proprietary, cutting edge, integrated back-office technology.

• 80% revenue split paid away to the adviser on self-generated leads and own clients. Adviser owns their self-generated client bank. Up to 3% initial and up to 1% ongoing acceptable where some element of face-to-face advice is provided.

• Some leads available. 50%/50% revenue split on Fintuity leads. Fintuity leads are digital advice delivery done remotely via zoom. They will be of varied case sizes (minimum £75k) and geographical locations. Initial fee up to 2% and ongoing up to 0.5% per annum when digital delivery or no face-to-face advice element provided. Realistic net earnings (post splits) on leads with average luck/skill is £25k-£30k per annum of initial fees plus ongoing. Fintuity retains ownership of any client generated from a Fintuity lead.

• No existing client bank is provided, we will help you facilitate transfer of your existing client book on joining to make the transition as simple as possible.
