Technology Sales / Business Development - Birmingham OR Bristol Region
Our client is a Global Technology Payments Vendor - primarily selling into hotels and restaurants. They operate in over 100 countries and are listed on the NY stock exchange. In the UK they have approx. 100 people already but are hyper growth and we are looking to grow them by 50% over the next 6 months
This is a fantastic time to get involved and join a ROCKET.
What do we need : 1) a background in b2b sales, and enterprise grade mindset PLUS 2) face to face sales exp…face to face client relations, regular meetings and client demos are the way forward for this company and how they are no1 in their sector.
You will need a driving licence AND ideally own transport ( we have a v competitive travel policy)
So…..if you are bored of SDR / AE roles - we can get you out in-front of customers selling a leading technology platform. 1 day from the office (we are building teams in Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol and Sheffield) - rest up to you.
A background / interest / knowledge of hospitality (bars, restaurants, hotels) a big bonus.
What You'll Do:
- Prospect and Build Relationships: Use your sales expertise to generate lists of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle, from the first call to closing the deal.
- Customized Solutions: Conduct engaging demos and tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of each restaurant.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with various departments to ensure we meet and exceed client expectations throughout the sales process.
- Market Insight: Understand the competitive landscape and position this Global Technology Vendor effectively to capture market share.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: A background in sourcing or closing customers, particularly in hospitality, restaurant, payments or ecommerce operations or a related field.
- Field Savvy: A self-starter who thrives on being out in the field, connecting with potential clients.
- Communication Skills: Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills that resonate at all decision-making levels.
- Proven Success: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; creative and flexible in your approach.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software and experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
