Position Summary: We are looking for a passionate and creative Junior Motion Designer who is eager to take their first step into the animation industry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in motion design and a genuine love for moving imagery. While a relevant degree or equivalent qualification is a plus, we are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate their skills and passion through a relevant showreel or portfolio. As a Junior Motion Designer at Box Studio, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and contribute to the development of visually stunning animations.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop engaging motion graphics and animations.
  • Assist in creating storyboards, animatics, and visual treatments for various projects.
  • Create visually appealing and seamless motion designs using industry-standard software.
  • Work closely with the animation team to integrate motion graphics into larger animation projects.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to enhance project visuals.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in motion design and animation.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and organization of project files and assets.
  • Follow project schedules and meet deadlines to ensure timely project delivery.


Requirements:

  • A strong passion for motion design and a genuine love for moving imagery.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification is a plus, but not essential. Showreel or portfolio demonstrating skills in motion design and animation is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro.
  • Basic understanding of 3D software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Maya) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, composition, and typography.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow, with a proactive attitude toward challenges and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
