Enterprise IT Project Manager

6 month contract

£450 per day outside IR35

Hybrid work with minimum 2 days per week in Cambridge, UK


We have a fantastic opportunity a Project Manager with five years + experience to support a Commercial Portfolio team in Cambridge, with two days in the office. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple projects involving both IT and business stakeholders, and must understand the IT development lifecycle.

We’re looking for a strong delivery partner and ‘people person’ with a can-do attitude, passionate and highly motivated to deliver brilliant results – working in a high energy and highly supportive team.


You’ll operate as an Uuna consultant and be proactive, recommending and proactively delivering solutions to problems.


Your attention to detail, careful planning, risk management/monitoring, and appreciation of the value of testing to maintain project momentum - as well as engaging our customers to deliver successfully - is key.


You will stand out for this role if you have extraordinary people management, interpersonal skills and domain expertise. We’re looking for someone who understands and champions people-led change delivery.


Responsibilities:


- Run the project lifecycle from the initial set up, including design, build, test and cutover/implementation in line with quality and time

- Drive project delivery through day to day engagement with IT teams and business customers

- Lead vendor teams and matrix manage to a high standard

- Effectively communicate project status regularly and handle risk accordingly

- Take ownership of issues, demonstrating situational leadership

- Run multiple projects of varying size and stages concurrently 


Required Skills and Experience:


Experienced in multifunctional Project Delivery 

Adaptable, with the ability to flex your style and approach to meet the needs of the Business and the Project.

Proficient in key project management tools such as Jira, confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, MS projects 

Skilled in managing dependencies across multiple teams globally 

Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills; comfortable communicating and collaborating with teams across different disciplines.


‘Nice to have’ skills and experience:


Relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of ITIL and Agile methodologies.

Knowledge of commercial systems such as Salesforce and SAP
