Head of Information Technology | £85,000 + Benefits | Hybrid working | Bristol Based


We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of IT to lead our technology team and drive innovation across our organisation. If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for tech and a strong track record in IT management, we’d love to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership: Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Strategy: Develop and implement a robust IT strategy that aligns with our business goals, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Infrastructure: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.
  • Project Management: Lead key technology projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Cybersecurity: Ensure our systems and data are protected with best-in-class security practices, and lead efforts to stay compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership to ensure IT supports broader business goals, and provide clear communication on tech-related initiatives and challenges.
  • Innovation: Keep an eye on the future, identifying opportunities for new technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and user experience across the business.


About You:


  • Experience: Proven track record in senior IT roles, ideally in fast-paced or complex organisations.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, systems architecture, and cloud solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technology solutions with business objectives, with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solver: Able to anticipate issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions quickly.
  • Communication: Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
