Senior Project Architect / Associate – Path to Leadership in an Ambitious London Design Practice


Are you an ambitious architect ready to take the next step in your career? An award-winning, design-led architecture firm in Central London is seeking a Senior Project Architect or Associate to join their expanding team. This is a unique opportunity to develop into a senior leadership role, with a clear progression path to Associate Director and Director level, alongside potential share options.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a practice that invests in its people. You’ll join at Senior Project Architect or Associate level, depending on your experience, with a tailored path to Associate Director and ultimately Director roles. As the practice expands, you'll play a key role in shaping its future and driving its success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from concept to completion, managing design and delivery on-site.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, helping to secure new commissions.
  • Assist in the management and mentoring of junior team members.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years post-Part 3 experience, with demonstrable job-running skills.
  • Strong design and technical capabilities, with experience managing projects from concept to completion.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with UK Building Regulations and contract administration.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or ArchiCAD is advantageous, but not essential.
  • An understanding of sustainable design and retrofit projects would be beneficial.
