My client is a major B2B Conference business now looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven SEO editor to create content to their digital media websites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both content writing and SEO strategies. You will be responsible for optimizing existing content, creating new content with a focus on SEO, and ensuring that all content aligns with the client’s brand’s voice and business goals. Your primary goal will be to enhance our online presence, improve search engine rankings, and drive targeted traffic to our website.

As the SEO Editor you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create remarkable, relevant and SEO-friendly content for growing and exciting industries – a mixture of articles, infographics, industry reports, whitepapers, webinars, videos and social media and other digital platforms tailored to a B2B audience.
  • Optimize existing content to improve search engine rankings.
  • Implement on-page SEO techniques such as meta tags, keyword placement, internal linking, and URL structure.
  • Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of SEO strategies.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies that align with the company’s goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on SEO performance, traffic, and rankings.
  • Work closely with the content, marketing, and web development teams.
  • Provide SEO training and guidelines to team members.
  • Work with clients to execute the deliverables to the sponsors.
  • Manage social media channels.

The Candidate must have:

  • Degree in journalism, marketing or similar
  • 2+ years of editorial, marketing or social media experience
  • SEO copywriting skills
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
