We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation seeking an Import Coordinator working in Essex.

Responsibilities;

  • Facilitating communication across our diverse network, including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, such as shipping lines, hauliers, and depots, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Tracking shipments for Imports
  • Auditing supplier invoices for accuracy and addressing discrepancies as necessary.
  • Monitoring vessel arrivals to stay ahead of logistics and scheduling needs.
  • Initiating and managing internal files to maintain organizational efficiency and document control.
  • Generating invoices to ensure accurate billing and financial documentation.
  • Coordinating collections and deliveries, prioritizing adherence to customer deadlines for optimal satisfaction.

Skills Required;

  • Experience working within Freight Forwarding industry
  • Experience using software such as CNS, Multi Freight or Destin8
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good attention to detail
