Job Description
We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation seeking an Import Coordinator working in Essex.
Responsibilities;
- Facilitating communication across our diverse network, including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, such as shipping lines, hauliers, and depots, ensuring seamless operations.
- Tracking shipments for Imports
- Auditing supplier invoices for accuracy and addressing discrepancies as necessary.
- Monitoring vessel arrivals to stay ahead of logistics and scheduling needs.
- Initiating and managing internal files to maintain organizational efficiency and document control.
- Generating invoices to ensure accurate billing and financial documentation.
- Coordinating collections and deliveries, prioritizing adherence to customer deadlines for optimal satisfaction.
Skills Required;
- Experience working within Freight Forwarding industry
- Experience using software such as CNS, Multi Freight or Destin8
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good attention to detail
