Finance Systems Specialist


About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Finance Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the integration and enhancement of finance systems, primarily Elite 3E, along with other platforms such as InTapp, ChromeRiver, and Power BI. As part of a growing global company, you will play a crucial role in supporting system expansions, migrations, and ongoing developments, ensuring the smooth operation of our finance systems during a period of transformation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within project teams to implement new financial systems, upgrades, and changes, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Support ongoing migration projects, particularly the adoption of Elite 3E across global offices, while also assisting in the enhancement of existing finance systems.
  • Develop and maintain financial system procedures, specifications, and training materials, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Conduct thorough testing of system upgrades and new functionalities, documenting results and assisting with user training.
  • Take ownership of user accounting, reporting, and planning requirements, translating complex processes into system enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between Finance and Tech teams, effectively communicating system decisions and requirements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements to enhance business efficiency and finance outputs.
  • Provide day-to-day systems support for all users, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Assist with system administration tasks such as data security, user access controls, and entity structure maintenance.


Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience with PMS, Elite 3E or Aderant in a legal or similar environment, with other ERP experience considered advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to implement business process improvements and gather requirements from stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL, SSRS, Excel reporting, and Power BI dashboard development.
  • Advanced IT skills, including writing macros in Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Power-Suite.
  • Familiarity with InTapp, ChromeRiver or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Azure and experience in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment preferred.
