GSL Education are currently working with a vibrant primary school situated in the Bedhampton area. This school are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive SEN primary school. This school caters for children who have special educational needs, including those with autism, speech and language difficulties and learning difficulties.

This beautiful school has outdoor learning at the heart of its curriculum. It has a range of bikes and scooters available for everyone, as well as safe play areas and an outdoor Learning Lodge. 

Job role:

-            Working with KS1 and 2 aged pupils.

-            Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and communication skills.

-            Working under the guidance of a teacher supporting small groups of pupils with learning tasks.

-            Working 1:1 with key individuals to support their learning.

-            Creating a supportive and nurturing environment where the needs of all children are met.

-            Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils.

Job specification:

-            Full time 8:30am – 3:30pm (Mon – Fri)

-            £76.92 - £95 per day

-            Temporary to permanent contract

-            Location: Bedhampton

-            Start date: ASAP

To work with GSL Education as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you should: 
 

  • Have the right to work in the UK. 
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. 
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
