Materials Inspector

As a MATERIALS INSPECTOR you will;

• Be a key player in ensuring the materials required for our machine builds are correct and suitable for use.
• This role will be a part of our supply chain team however, this role will gain exposure to working closely with our procurement, warehouse and operations teams.

• Measure and report upon material compliance from both internal and external suppliers
• Analyse and qualify Supplier dimensional reports and certification
• Implement Monthly KPIs for Material Quality

• Management of workloads and priorities in the Inspection Department.
• Liaise with internal customers to determine workflow.
• Report and assist in the investigation of non-conformances & corrective actions.
• Maintenance of NCR system.
• Statistical analysis and investigation of waste factors
• Act as final quality gate to ensure only products which reach quality standards are passed to the final customer.
• Assist in improvement and maintenance of Mpac Lamberts quality system.
• Carry out mechanical engineering inspection of precision machined components.

• Understanding of Engineering Drawings
• Understand Measure Techniques and Variances
• Experience with measuring Machined parts
• A collaborative individual who acts as a team player & communicates well with others
• A keen interest on quality compliance
