**The Position**:

As a MATERIALS INSPECTOR you will;
- Be a key player in ensuring the materials required for our machine builds are correct and suitable for use.
- This role will be a part of our supply chain team however, this role will gain exposure to working closely with our procurement, warehouse and operations teams.

**Core Functions & Obligations**:

- Measure and report upon material compliance from both internal and external suppliers
- Analyse and qualify Supplier dimensional reports and certification
- Implement Monthly KPIs for Material Quality

**Core Deliverables / Outputs**:

- Management of workloads and priorities in the Inspection Department.
- Liaise with internal customers to determine workflow.
- Report and assist in the investigation of non-conformances & corrective actions.
- Maintenance of NCR system.
- Statistical analysis and investigation of waste factors
- Act as final quality gate to ensure only products which reach quality standards are passed to the final customer.
- Assist in improvement and maintenance of Mpac Lamberts quality system.
- Carry out mechanical engineering inspection of precision machined components.

**What Are We Looking For**:

- Understanding of Engineering Drawings
- Understand Measure Techniques and Variances
- Experience with measuring Machined parts
- A collaborative individual who acts as a team player & communicates well with others
- A keen interest on quality compliance

**Desirables But Not Necessities**:

- CMM programming
