The Role:
Wecurrently have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated teamas Area Sales Manager for Northern England and Scotland on afulltime basis supporting and developing our existing customer baseas well as identifying new opportunities for growth within theterritory.
This is a highprofile role within Our Clientand whilst experience in the furniture sector is desirable it isnot essential. However the successful candidate must be able todemonstrate a proven track record of
growing anddeveloping a mature sales territory coupled with enthusiasm anddesire to succeed.
Whilst this position will be heavilyfocussed on the key independent furniture retailers across theNorth of England and Scotland some experience of working withnational accounts in the furniture sector would also be abenefit.
About you: You will be a selfstarter with strongnegotiation skills is target driven and can develop superbrelationships with both customers and internal colleagues to helpachieve the Companys objectives for growth. Based in the North ofthe country you will make frequent trips to your dealersto
carry out your role with regular travel to the headoffice in Princes Risborough.
KeyDuties:
- Responsible for therelationship management and growth of the existing retail accountswithin your territory while actively prospecting for newdistributors domestic interior design accounts and opportunities.
- Analyse sales figures to help identify keygrowth opportunities within the individual
- Assist with daytoday queries from thoseaccounts within your territory.
- Develop andmaintain an effective product display within theseaccounts.
Work closely withcolleagues in the field and at Head Office which willinclude:
- Assisting with some nationalaccount administration.
- Visit the nationalaccount stores in your area on a regular call cycle and report backto the Sales & Marketing Director.
- Conducttraining and assist daytoday queries from those national accountstores within your territory
- Organisational& Communication skills
- Coordinate andmanage own journey plan.
- Maintain Outlookcalendar of journey plans.
- Organise and conductmeetings both instore and at the factory.
- Carryout product training for Retailer staff both instore and at thefactory.
- Eager to learn and progress within thebusiness
- Progression to include increasedaccount base responsibility.
- Work to Quarterlyand Annual KPIs / SalesTargets.
Competences &Skills:
You will be confident to engage with allareas of the Company it is a handson role working with manydepartments so it will be important to buildrelationships.
- 2 years experience in asales role
- Excellent communication skills bothwritten visually and verbally with the ability to communicate toall levels
- Well organised detailconscious ableto multitask always looking for efficiencies and better ways ofdoing things
- Knowledge of Microsoft excel andword.
- A flexible team player able to supportand integrate within a small hardworking and friendlyteam.
Fulltimerole Monday to Friday.
