About the role – Copywriter 

We’re seeking a dynamic copywriter to help us deliver our communications strategy and pivot to a customer-centric, value-first approach in our target audience engagement. 

You’ll be hands-on to deliver creative solutions, creating compelling, attention-grabbing copy that aims to deliver value, and ultimately convert. You’ll be expected to analyse briefs, understand our target audience’s wants, needs, and pain points, and convert these ideas into effective, high-quality copy.

Your responsibilities will be varied, but primarily focused on crafting promotional, acquisition communications such as email marketing campaigns and performance marketing, as well as SEO-centric content creation and long-form thought leadership content.

You’ll work as part of our Content Team and support our Content Creators in the creation of content across acquisition/retention activities, as well as with our brand and consumer communications.

Responsibilities

  • Concept, write, edit and iterate a wide range of short and long-form content, with a focus on creating copy to support Marketing & Sales acquisition activities, customer retention and upsell, and organic marketing efforts
  • Creation of compelling communications copy for promotional activities across various channels, including email campaigns, account-based-marketing, performance marketing, website, social campaigns
  • Creation of original, engaging and educational content assets for campaigns including, but not limited to whitepapers, blogs, landing pages, eBooks, guides, infographics, brochures, case studies
  • Produce well-written content that is SEO-centric and optimised for conversion, while optimising web articles to improve their search rankings
  • Coordinating closely with key stakeholders internally (Sales, Product, Marketing, etc.) to deliver content that is informed, accurate, and effectively speaks to the target audience to drive demand in target markets
  • Developing multiple assets at once in line with varied content briefs and business priorities in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to interrogate the brief to ensure optimum efficiency and speed.
  • Drive brand consistency across all company communications including editing and proof existing copy to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs 

Requirements

  • You will have 2+ years of experience of working in a similar role, ideally in a tech environment, or in a B2B organisation delivering product and demand-generation-focused content
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate successes in creating high-converting copy across email, website and landing pages
  • You have a proven track record in copywriting and SEO, preferably in a B2B SaaS
  • You’ll be an excellent proof-reader
