We are looking to recruit an Azure Data Engineer on an initial 6 month contract for a technology driven public sector organisation. The Data Engineer will be responsible for BAU support and fixes in what will be a varied role.

This is an initial 6 month contract. You will be required to work on site in Brighton 1 day a week for team days.

Technical Skills:

  • 3+ Years commercial experience in a Data Engineer role
  • Understanding of data integration and workflow applications (ideally Azure Data Factory).
  • Understanding of cloud data platforms and data storage technologies (ideally Azure).
  • Demonstrable hands-on Data Engineering development experience.
  • Excellent SQL skills at both a functional and non-functional level.
  • Understanding of Agile working methodologies.
  • Use of a branch-based source control.
