Client Care Advisor

We are a small animal practice on the outskirts of Bristol. We currently have a friendly and supportive team of 5 Vets, 3 Nurses, 2 Student Nurses, 4 Client Care Advisors and a Practice Manager. 

What your typical day will look like :

Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Greeting each client and their pets in a friendly manor and offering support, guidance, and expertise. Managing both cash and card payments confidently. Booking appointments appropriately for the clinical team, ensuring the diary is well managed each day. Answering phone calls and email enquiries from clients. Assisting the clinical team in dispensing medication. Ensuring the reception area and consulting rooms are kept clean and to high standard throughout the day. 

We can be flexible, the role can be a Part Time or Full-Time role which will include1 in 4 weekends on a Saturday morning.

The attributes required:

You will be a friendly and welcoming face for the client(s) and their pets when they arrive at the practice. You will have customer service experience and reception experience. You will keep yourself fully up-to-speed with the practice services available so you can confidently advise clients.  You will be calm, attentive, and always focus on the clients’ needs whilst bringing enthusiasm and drive to your role. To be successful in this role being able to multitask is essential.  You will be able to deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet.

In short, you like to be busy, enjoy helping people and their pets and always endeavour to make a difference.
