Job summary

The Winchester and Test Valley Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team are seeking a Team administrator to join the already well established and supportive team. The role will largely involve working closely with our clinicians and services users providing administrative support to ensure a service which is delivered to a high standard. They will provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to the team and liaise with other departments and services, responding effectively to enquiries from the general public, service users, referrers and other agencies.

They will able to consistently deliver a client focussed service that promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.

Main duties of the job

The Team Administrator will provide a full administrative service, having daily liaison with a wide range of staff at all levels and regular contact with people that use our services and their parents/carers, who may at times be distressed or angry.

The Team Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the office environment for the team.

-Enjoy working collaboratively with others, have a keen eye for detail and are process driven.

- Are an excellent communicator.

- Are competent with Microsoft office software; The role involves minute taking, letter and report formatting, taking calls and messages and processing as appropriate, as well as other administrative tasks.

- Enjoy a fast-paced role with varied work day-to-day

The transformation will happen in staggered stages; Hampshire CAMHS, part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust joined Southern Health in February 2024, with Isle of Wight NHS Trust mental health and community services transitioning in early May 2024. The final combination of Southern Health and Solent Trusts is anticipated to occur in July 2024, when the new organisation will be formed.

Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.
