Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a school setting? GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team at a school in Lincoln. This is a great opportunity to work closely with students and support their learning journey in a welcoming and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

  • Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour to create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Help to assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students with special educational needs to help them reach their full potential.
  • Supervise and assist with school activities, such as outings and sports events.

To be a successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant you should:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and safeguarding practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
