Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper you will ensure that the daily cleaning and tidying of all the hotel bedrooms and any public areas is completed.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and friendly Housekeeper to join our team at Lough Erne Resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of all guest areas and back of house, ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house, including but not limited to rooms, corridors, and public spaces.

- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests.

- Ensure housekeeping departmental standards are followed to maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation.

- Respond promptly to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items such as cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.

- Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and inform management of any shortages.

- Report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs promptly.

- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures at all times.

- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.

- Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred but not required.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.

- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards preferred.
