We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Conference & Banqueting Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our conference and banqueting operations, delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise Events: Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all conference and banqueting events, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of conference and banqueting staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to maintain high standards of service.

- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times, resolving any guest issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

- Event Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to ensure all event requirements are met, including food and beverage, audio-visual, and housekeeping.

- Staff Scheduling: Assist in creating and managing staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all events.

- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure meeting rooms, banquet halls, and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and set up according to guest requirements.

- Financial Management: Assist in controlling costs and maximizing revenue by monitoring event budgets, managing inventory, and minimizing waste.

- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

- Event Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote conference and banqueting services, upsell packages, and assist with event bookings as needed.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of team management.

- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software (e.g., Opera, Micros or similar).
