The Associate Client Manager will manage small business renewal accounts from start to finish. The role requires logging client data, evaluating insurance needs, and helping create effective risk management solutions designed to meet clients' financial goals. This includes the broking/quoting for renewals, prioritizing client retention and communication, as well as the operational tasks required to complete binding and policy management. The Associate Client Manager on the BSB (Baldwin Small Business) team will be responsible for all marketing, client communication, binding coverage, endorsements, and policy data logging for accounts less than $3,000 in revenue. The goal is to satisfy the needs of these smaller clients and retain them year over year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Exclusive Point of Contact for all client renewal processesFacilitating the policy marketing, quoting, and underwriting process on renewalsDelivering accurate quotes that meet or exceed client requestsFostering relationships with various insurance carriers and acting as the liaison between current clients and carriers, as well as wholesalersConsulting clients on the right insurance coverage as they grow and scale their companiesProviding exceptional customer service; this includes answering client inquiries and questions in a timely and efficient manner, handling policy changes/endorsements, issuing certificates of insuranceUpdating and improving upon internal information management systems, including SalesforceCompiling and preparing all relevant paperwork to bind client insurance policies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Prior experience in insurance and loves customer serviceExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and task prioritization skillsProficient in learning new software and technologies, Salesforce experience preferredSelf-motivated, analytical, ambitious with an entrepreneurial spirit

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor’s degree preferredAt least 2 years’ relevant experience requiredCurrent P&C license
