Position: NPI Supply Planner Location : Parsippany Troy Hills NJ 07054 Duration : 6 Months Job Type : Contract Work Type : Hybrid Onsite T/W/Th Description:
  • The Supply Planner is responsible for the developmentcommunication and execution of product specific supply plans forall relevant markets. Job will require close collaboration withcross functional teams within the development and manufacturingfunctions. The Supply Planner will ensure best practices aredeployed in Supply and Inventory Management processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Developand deploy supply plans based on sales forecast new productintroduction plans and other planning parameters
  • Work with internal and externalmanufactures on a routine basis to deliver requested finished goodsand bulk (drug product) according to scheduled timeline andquantity requirements
  • Participate in the development of the supply planningstrategy and implement relevant elements
  • Optimize inventory position to limit excessand obsolete inventory while ensuring uninterrupted supply
  • Work crossfunctionally with Quality Regulatory and R&D to address supplyimpacting issues
  • Participate in new product introduction projects andsupply plans are developed communicated and executed in support ofthe project timelines
QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledgeof Supply Chain concepts and best practices including experience inthree or more of the following areas: Demand Planning SupplyPlanning Materials Management Inventory Management and/or Sales& Operations Planning
  • Strong business process and ERP systemsknowledge (preferably SAP)
  • BS or MS in Supply chain Statistics MathematicsEngineering or related area
  • Analytical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Certifications orcontinuous learning with APICS ISM or other accredited professionalorganizations a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Supply Chain
  • Familiarity withpharmaceutical GMP environment
  • Proficiency in Excel is required
Additional Details:
  • Department is responsible for the pipelining of allClient products. Candidate must have extremely strong planningexperience and must be comfortable working on many products atonce. Strong excel experience is also required.
