We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Technology Department. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity, that may particularly suit a Chemistry Graduate.


Your opportunity:  

Improve manufacturing processes to enable the Company to continually reduce costs and improve the quality of our products, in line with Technological requirements.

Conduct and report technical product analysis to support quality activities, product performance investigations, and product/applications development Identify the root cause of unplanned plant shutdowns and develop corrective and preventative actions to prevent re-occurrence Participate in commissioning of new plant and equipment. Develop documentation for operation of new systems and equipment Identify, develop and implement productivity improvements to support the Company’s financial performance This position involves working in co-operation with staff at all levels within and across the organization in order to ensure effective implementation of changes Provide process engineering support to the optimization of abatement systems in order that the business meets its environmental objectives Identify and gain agreement for the parameters which are important to the process to support process improvement whilst maintaining Quality requirements. Recommended and develop suitable measurement systems to track these parameters

Your Profile:

Degree qualified in a relevant Physical Science or Engineering discipline essential Proven post-qualification experience in process development and/or improvement of fibre (or similar) products Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills Committed to raising standards and delivering results Self-sufficient in IT skills Good planning and administration skills Ability to interact effectively with various disciplines (technical, finance, production, engineering) Ability to communicate effectively to all levels

Salary: Circa £, per annum depending on experience
