Our client is looking for an ITInfrastructure and Support Assistant to join the business tosupport the growth and development of the IT service and provisionsrequired.

The ideal candidate will love everything ITand have undertaken to be work towards an IT qualification ideallyat NVQ Level 3.

JobPurpose
To provide efficientand effective IT services and support to the organization. Toundertake administration support and monitoring of the ICT networkhardware and software resources; including installation maintenanceavailability and security to support the operation requirements ofthe business.

  • A dynamic environmentbased in Princes Risborough (office based for year 1 then hybrid)
  • Has or is in progress of an NQF Level 3 or iswilling to work towards an NQF Level 3
  • Workalongside the IT Manager whilst learning all aspects of the role.
  • Be the lead with the development of Microsoft365 Administration
  • Administration andmaintenance of server hardware and software systems includingdirectory services operating systems and database systems.
  • Administration and maintenance of the companynetwork including switches and WiFi access points.
  • Creating distributing and maintaining useraccounts and profiles including remote/local access accounts andemail system accounts.
  • Deal with enquiriestickets logged on the service desk and to communicate effectivelywith customers colleagues and internal/external personnel
  • Assigning and revoking company equipmentincluding laptops and smart phones.
  • To ensureaccurate record keeping using IT systems
  • Towork in line with best practice ensuring compliance to relevantpolicies
  • To maintain confidentiality anddiscretion
  • Assist in general administrationand support
  • Demonstrate a positiveenthusiastic committed and flexible attitude towards work teammember colleagues and other persons
  • Genuine interest in IT as acareer and be willing to complete Microsoft Certification with theassistance and encouragement of yourManager
  • Confident &professional telephone manner
  • Goodcommunication skills written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate at all levels bothinternally and externally
  • Ability to workunder pressure and meet targets and deadlines
  • Selfmotivated and able to work without closesupervision.
  • Ability to work well alone and aspart of a team.
  • Good numerical and analyticalskills including experience with spreadsheets and computerbasedsystems including Microsoft products.
  • Abilityto learn an ERP / manufacturing system and back up the IT Managerwhen needed
  • Previous similar IT supportexperience would be ideal but notessential

Based onsite inPrinces Risborough so would suit a South Bucks resident. The officeis based a 10 minute walk from the trainstation.
