Home Instead have an exciting opportunity for work in the Burnham on Sea area.

We are looking for experienced Care Professionals to work set hours with 2 brothers that have profound learning disabilities.

Lots of smiles and laughs are guaranteed.

The brothers live with their mum who is their main carer and works tirelessly to provide the brothers with their best life.

Help needed:

We are looking for Care Assistants that are car drivers over the age of 21 and are happy to drive a mobility vehicle.

Working shifts will be 08.00 – 09.30 and / or 15.30 – 18.00 Monday to Sunday. Choose the days / shifts that you would like.

Morning duties to include: Supporting to get ready for the day including personal care and meal assistance, followed by transportation to a day centre.

Afternoons duties include: Collecting from day centre, taking home and supporting with personal care and meal assistance.

You will form part of a team of Carers working with these particular Clients, and if desired, we can give you other Clients to top up your hours as well.

We are offering:

Pay rate of £13 -14.80 per hour Double pay on Bank Holidays Paid travel time plus paid mileage. Opportunity to be introduced to more Clients if more hours are desired. A range of guaranteed hours contracts available e.g.: 12, 16, 30 hours p/week. Or zero-hours to suit your availability. Your pay, whenever you need it - take a portion of your pay early, no need to wait until payday. Paid holiday. Paid training and shadowing. DBS fee paid (after a qualifying period) Regular working pattern with the same Clients. 24/7 on call support and a friendly and supportive office team. Regular team meetings, training updates and support visits. Qualifications

A van will be provided to transport the 2 brothers, please note that applicants will need to be over 21 Years old due to insurance purposes.

Experience in care essential and experience with learning disabilities would be advantageous.

This role requires individuals with patience, adaptability & good communication skills, as the clients are both non verbal.

You will form part of a team of Carers working with these particular Clients, and if desired, we can give you other Clients to top up your hours as well.
