In our Inverness services, we provide support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism and acquired brain injuries, to support them to live the best lives possible.

We are currently recruiting for 3 services in Inverness - read on for more details

Service 1 (VC): In this service, we support two young men to live independently in their own homes. They enjoy walking, so staff need to be physically fit and prepared to walk up to 7 miles per day. They like to go to the gym, trampoline, play games, visit family, cook, draw and many other things We are currently recruiting for 30-37.5 hours per week.

Service 2 (OER): In this service, we also support two men to live independently in their own homes. These gentlemen enjoy playing football, DIY, going to the cinema, going on holiday, swimming and walking. We are currently recruiting for waking night staff only, to support between Monday-Sunday from 9pm - 8am. These roles are for 22-44 hours per week. Service 3 (BG): In this service, we support a young lady who has an acquired brain injury who uses a wheelchair to get about. She loves cats and dogs, meeting up with friends and family, going to the pub, going to the movies and just generally enjoying life. This lady prefers female-only support and candidates must have a UK driving license to help support her to get out and about. We are currently recruiting for a 30-hour post and this role will include sleepovers.

As a Support Worker you will support with the activities and interests noted above, but also with individual support needs as well as the day-to day intimate personal care, household tasks and moving and positioning tasks.

Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act

Your values:

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.

Naturally it is important too that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support. People's values are important to use, so we look for people with:

- Empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others
- A strong work ethic
- Reliability
- Honesty
- Determination
