As a BI Report Developer, you will develop and optimise Power BI and MicroStrategy reports with complex data Models and transformations. You will develop reports using Power BI, and MicroStrategy on the latest Cloud Data Warehouses including Snowflake and Google.  Our data warehouse capability is used well beyond BI, powering our core operations such as Marketing, Finance and Product.

Reporting to the Senior Report Architect, you will be part of the Global Business Intelligence team, who are responsible for providing the capability to ensure accurate, timely and secure data to enable data to be used as a strategic asset across Entain.

What you will do

  • Develop and optimise Power BI and MicroStrategy reports with complex data Models and transformations.
  • Develop reports from multiple data sources including APIs, csv files, relational and non-relational databases, cloud storage buckets including S3 and GCP.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization and be able to devise the technical solution as it relates to the business & technical requirements. 
  • Mentor colleagues and be proactive in developing colleague skill sets to have a better understanding of reporting dashboards

Who you are

  • A veteran report developer having developed reports dealing with large volume data on several TB sized data structures in traditional normalised data warehouses like Teradata & Oracle and cloud Big Data warehouses like Big Query & Snowflake.
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-tier, high availability, Google cloud and on-premise data engineering solutions in a complex multi-cloud, multi-enterprise environment.
  • Strong Data Modelling experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Tabular Editor and DAX Studio. 
  • Knowledge of Power BI and MicroStrategy best practices.  
  • Experience with DAX, Power Query, Dataflows, T-SQL, SSAS or Analysis Services.
  • QL and PL/SQL and ability to Advanced Swrite performance optimised queries.
