Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic academic environment? The School of Clinical Medicine (SCM) University of Cambridge is looking for a proactive and organised HR/Reward Coordinator to become a pivotal member of our SCM HR Team.

At SCM HR, we're dedicated to providing excellent HR, recruitment, and clinical services to over 3200 colleagues, including clinical professionals and visitors across various departments, institutes, and units within the School of Clinical Medicine. With a commitment to fostering an inclusive culture, we strive to make SCM a great place to work, where everyone can excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for reward and benefit inquiries. Administer SCM reward and career development schemes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency which includes the co-ordination of senior academic Headships, Sabbaticals, and Retirements. Provide administrative support to the SCM HR Team, including onboarding, assisting with committees, projects, and day-to-day operations. Manage key events and promotional materials to enhance employee experience and engagement. Offer support on employee relations issues including note taking. Coordinate resource and workforce planning activities. Provide administrative assistance to projects and NHS committees. Aid in developing key HR messages and communications for the team and across the School. Support wellbeing, equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering a non-discriminatory work environment. Collaborate with the SCM HR team and other university staff, representing our team in various meetings and initiatives.

Requirements:

Strong administrative skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work autonomously and handle confidential information with discretion. Familiarity with HR best practices and employment law is advantageous. Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel to other sites.
