Director of Estates - Fixed Term Contract - £75,000 - Birmingham/ Hybrid

Your new company 
The organisation is a multi-academy trust that administers 21 academy schools across 10 local authority areas in England. It operates in the East of England, Southeast England, East Midlands, and West Midlands. The trust provides high-quality education and fosters a supportive learning environment for students.
Your new role 
Lead and contribute to the implementation of the estate’s strategy, collaborating with principals and facilities staff across the educational institutes. Oversee all aspects of academy properties, including maintenance, health and safety, and facilities management.
Manage refurbishment, expansion, and other building projects, from bidding and development to procurement and implementation. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements for both hard and soft facilities management and maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed 

Provide management & leadership for a high-performing team, providing excellent communication skills. Lead responsibility for all health and safety requirements.Assume overall responsibility as the Estates Director.Manage and lead a high-performing team, ensuring excellent communication skills.Take charge of all health and safety requirements.Lead on Basic Needs and large capital projects.Build relationships with key contractors, sector influencers, and government departments.Ensure the estate directorate meets goals and KPIs that support company growth and align with the Trust’s strategic plan.Supervise the daily activities of each directorate and manage each directorate's lead.Develop plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs across Estates budgets.
