The overall purpose of the role is to design, cut, join and shape metal to create structures, objects and component parts or repair existing ones. The Fabricator will read and interpret assembly and drawing specifications in order to establish the correct process, identifying and selecting the correct materials and preparing the materials for assembly using either a manual, automated or mechanised process.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • ASME 9 or EN ISO 9606-1
  • Previous Fabrication experience
  • Pump and component knowledge
  • Ability to use engineering measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • CSCS/EUSR Card Holder
  • Confined Space Entry training (desirable)
  • DOMS & Water Hygiene (desirable)
  • Overhead pendant crane/gantry crane training (desirable)
  • Lifting Operations training (desirable

To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a similar fabrication type role, the ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills and the ability to work as part of team as well and on your own. You will also have a valid uk drivers license.
