WGM have an excellent opportunity for a trainee TEKLA Draughtsperson which will be based out of our brand new Newbridge site. The purpose of the role will be to Learn and develop using the TEKLA design software to become a fully experienced Tekla Draughtsperson.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Work alongside our T&D department to create 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Create detailed fabrication drawings and material lists for workshop.
- Carry out site surveys with our Site Surveyor and liaise with Projects personnel.
- Produce written reports following site survey findings.
- Demonstrate awareness of the technical standards and current British Standards when carrying out your role.
- Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions.
- Liaise with workshop and site install teams regarding drawings.
- Drive process improvements by liaising with workshop and site install team.
- Updating fabrication tracker and schedule on TEKLA/CAD activities.
- Working alongside production team to ensure deadlines are met or bring attention of any delays to the team.
- Assist with the team, particularly in complex or higher criticality tasks where engineering specifications or build tolerances require greater experience or knowledge to complete.
- To ensure safety at all times and lead on behavioural safety.
- Ensures that all HSEQ training is in place and current.
- Help create and support the WGM ONE TEAM approach to working together.
