Job summary

Having grown rapidly both insupporting our PCNs and in the clinical services we provide we are looking togrow our finance team, this role brings the opportunity to work autonomouslybut with support and development from our Head of Finance and Senior ManagementAccountants and utilising our book keep team.

Main duties of the job

Producing management accounts includingcommentary Accruals, deferredincomeandprepayments Assisting with the production of theP&L Balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with budgets and forecasting Presenting accounts on a quarterly basis toeach PCN BoardInter-company reconciliation andanalysis

Job Description Management Accountant

Alliance for Better Care

Reports to: Head of Finance

Responsible to: Head of Finance

Proposed salary: Band on the ABC pay scale, which is equivalentto £41, - £48, per annum dependent on experience (pro rata)

Hours of work: Part time or Full time considered 15 to hours perweek

Tenure: Permanent

Base: ABC HQ based in Horley, Surrey however we support remote flexibleworking and can provide everything needed for predominantly home working

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The ManagementAccountant duties will be:

To take on full responsibility for thepreparation and delivery of accurate and timely management accounts along withbusiness commentary on aquarterlybasis to a high standard The preparation of accurate P&L, BalanceSheetandvarianceanalysis Responsible for the preparation and review ofthe budgets and forecasts Produce business cash flow The review and posting of inter-companytransfers Development of systems and processes Credit Control

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

A recognised UK accountancy qualification (CIMA, AAT, ACA) part qualified considered

Experience

Essential

Previous experience of working in a finance team Experience of budgeting and cash flow

Desirable

Experience of managing multiple company accounts would be advantageous

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Essential

Strong knowledge of management accounts Excellent working knowledge on Xero and Excel Excellent analytical and numeracy skills Strong communication Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team Self-motivated Resilient Honest Flexibility Commercial awareness
