TeacherResponsibilities

  • Planprepare and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year1 students.
  • Implement appropriate teachingstrategies to engage and inspire students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing regularfeedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculummaterials and share best practices.
  • Maintain asafe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectfulbehaviour and positive relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provideupdates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings professional developmentworkshops and other school activities asrequired.

Requirements

  • Bachelorsdegree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 1 students in a primaryschool setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of theNational Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs ofindividual learners.
  • Dedication to ongoingprofessional development and a commitment to staying uptodate withthe latest educational practices.
  • Flexibilityand adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative teamenvironment.
