WaymanEducation is working with a vibrant and fun primary school based inEast London seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS2teacher/Leader of Maths is required from September2024.

This fantastic primary school is searchingfor an outstanding KS2 teacher who has the skills and drive to leadMathematics throughout the entire school starting inSeptember.

This is a significant position withinthe school and the successful applicant will join the schoolsextended leadership team. Strong communication and analyticalabilities as well as the ability to teach a funloving Year 4 or 5class beginning in September are required for this position.

Only exceptional experienced KS2 teachers willbe interviewed for this permanent fulltimeposition.

The children are hardworking caringinquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to developwellrounded confident pupils through a supportive pastoralenvironment as a result we are seeking a primary teacher who knowshow to drive attainment and create engaginglessons.

Responsibilities of a KS2teacher:

  • As a KS2teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of thechildren promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
  • Teaching the Key stage 2curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on eachindividual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths andimproving their weaknesses
  • Further developingmaths ability and introducing fractions statistics andgeometry
  • Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents
