We are looking for a

Payroll Executive (9 months FTC)

Location: Milton Keynes/Hybrid Reporting to: Payroll Manager

2 days per week in the office

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Team as a Payroll Executive at the UK’s number one property portal on a fixed term contract. This role will primarily involve providing support in all aspects of payroll, processing c850 salaried employees on a monthly basis, over two PAYE schemes.

A typical week as a Payroll Executive might involve

monitoring the Payroll team inbox responding to employee enquiries regarding payroll matters, including tax deductions and benefits. processing joiners, leavers, and contract changes on a monthly basis manual calculations such as overtime, absence, and pro-rated payments processing monthly maternity and paternity pay monthly pension auto-enrolment and pensions administration FPS and EPS submissions to HMRC maintaining accurate employee records, including changes in salary, benefits, and personal information administration of some company benefits such as cycle to work scheme working closely across areas of Rightmove, including HR, Finance and Sales handling employee/line manager queries occasionally working flexible hours to ensure tight deadlines are met

We’re looking for someone who

2+ years of proven in-house payroll administration experience proficiency in Excel at an advanced level confidence in manual pay calculations, such as overtime, absence and pro-rated payments strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory deductions high standards, taking genuine pride in ‘getting it right first time’ for our employees ability to manage higher workloads during peak periods confidence handling employee/line manager queries with effective written and verbal communication skills integrity in handling sensitive and confidential payroll data ability to build positive relationships across all tiers of the organisation willingness to question and challenge ideas enthusiastic about contributing to the success of the team

Experience of IRIS Earnie IQ, NetSuite and basic bookkeeping would be beneficial but is not essential.
