Audio Visual CommissioningEngineer

We are currently looking foran experienced AV Commissioning Engineer based in the South ofEngland who has experience in commissioning designing anddelivering bespoke AV systems. You will deal with all aspects ofintegrating Audio Visual systems into the clients buildings; thiswill encompass both hardware and software systems performing onsitecommissioning and configuration and liaising with client contacts.It will also include designing schematics reviewing CAD drawingsand providing all other relevant technical documentation.

The Role:

  • Supervising system prebuild works at client& company premises
  • Carry out testing andconfiguration of systems built offsite prior to acceptancetesting
  • Preparing acceptance testingdocumentation prior to client or consultant acceptancetests
  • Assist in the second fix of AV systems bysupplying design drawings and cable schedules to the highestpossible standard
  • Provide project details andequipment specifications to inhouse and thirdparty controlprogrammers assisting with control system programming and anyissues
  • Set up test and commission systemsonsite to meet the requiredstandards
  • Completion and where appropriatedocumentation of asbuilt version of configuration software for DSPsMatrixes etc
  • Support the Project Managers withall technical aspects of project delivery in documentation liaisingwith 3rd parties design drawings etc
  • Providetechnical support for all installed systems including technicaladvice to the client and other teammembers
  • Provide technical support for onsitesystem maintenance system repairs and modifications after projectcompletion
  • Provide technical information andsupport for Sales Installation and Project Managementstaff

ExperienceRequired:

  • In depthProfessional AV engineering knowledge
  • Previousprogramming experience would beadvantageous
  • Communication skills ability todeal politely and efficiently with customers both on the telephoneand in meetings
  • Experience in commissioning andfaultfinding of complex AV systems
  • An abilityto work under pressure
  • Close attention todetail
  • Current and clean DrivingLicense
