Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, and supervise age-appropriate activities and learning experiences. Provide nurturing care and support to meet the individual needs of each child. Foster social-emotional and cognitive development, including communication skills, empathy, and self-confidence. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment. Observe and document children's progress and communicate effectively with families. Joint develop curriculum or assist with supervision or reporting.

Required Experience

Level 1/2: Possess a Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1/2. Minimum one year of experience in a daycare setting is preferred.

Level III: Hold a Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 3. A minimum of two years of experience in a daycare setting.

All Levels:

A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development. Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment through play-based activities. Commitment to building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Fluency in English and familiarity with French is a bonus. Emergency child care first aid, CPR, criminal check/vulnerable sector check are required.
