ECT Primary Teacher

We are looking for early career teachers to work in a primary school in Spalding. This is a fabulous way to put your knowledge into practice and gain some valuable experience in primary schools before gaining a permanent role, which we can also assist with. Position: ECT Primary Teacher

Location: Spalding

 

Key Responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and lessons for primary students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' work, ensuring their continuous growth and development.
  • Organise and participate in extracurricular activities, such as clubs, and competitions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and promote interdisciplinary learning.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid teaching certification for primary education UK (PGCE or QTS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in history or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level (preferred).
  • Local to the Spalding area (driver is preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
