Job Description

As Vehicle Attribute Integration SME your main responsibilities are:

Define vehicle attribute positioning and road maps to delivery, including driving any new technologies or innovation required Lead vehicle attribute target setting for the platform, including benchmarking to ensure programme targets are aligned to business expectations Engineering lead working with the Product Strategy team in the development of PALS, product positioning and identifying competitor set Using the PALS, develop the attribute and performance targets for the platform using Platform Bandwidth Requirements (PBR) Manage and Chair the Attribute Integration throughout the Concept phase of projects with the following stakeholders, if deemed necessary: Project Chief Engineer, Concept & Virtual Verification, SETs Interface between the attribute expert teams and Product Strategy throughout Concept phase Working with VLM team, approve the pedigree of engineering vehicles and timing of Attributes related activities to ensure that they are appropriate for the delivery of targets or technologies Provide guidance to the Vehicle Integration Team meetings and Technical Forums to ensure timely decisions are agreed for Vehicle Attributes issues across the programme(s)

Qualifications / Skills needed

The person could have specific attribute experience, such as NVH or Dynamics, but have an appreciation and understanding of whole vehicle level attribute target setting and benchmarking and be able to apply their specific expertise to all other vehicle attributes. Ideally SUV experience would be preferable, but not essential.
