A bit about the job:
The role is part of the actuarial insights team within UK IWR Finance and the role holder will work alongside a team of actuarial and accounting specialists to deliver our Wealth financial results. Our Important stakeholders are commercial teams and the Actuarial and Risk functions. You will explain and analyse on a monthly basis the impact of key drivers of Aviva’s UK IWR’s financial results, in order to provide insight into sources of profit and loss. Additionally, you will support the team reporting to the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Accounting Officer in the understanding of our results and for Finance Business Partners and commercial teams to drive forward understanding of how financials impact the business to support decision making.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Understanding of financial reporting metrics including IFRS & Solvency II Good knowledge and understanding of actuarial principles, formulae and methodology Able to work closely with others to ensure reporting processes are challenged to improve efficiency and maintain a strong control environment Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager, able to explain complex problems Good at dealing with change and implementing new initiatives into the businessWhat you’ll get for this role:
