PositionSummary This position provides critical support services to thevarious ODGA executive branch agency partners by assisting agencystaff in the procurement of goods and services to enable them tomeet their operational goals and the ODGAs mission. This positionmanages the relationships and transactions within the ODGA as itrelates to all purchases and receivables. Maintaining records forall vendors key suppliers and the negotiated purchasing agreementsbetween the ODGA and any other agency or organization. In additionthis role will be responsible for assisting with the procurementprocess including contract management contract negotiation andpreparation of purchase orders for the ODGA. You will also beresponsible for ensuring that our commitments to customers are met.

Job Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply state procurementregulations policies and procedures.
Working knowledgeof state and familiarity with state government procurement policiesfor the purchase of goods and services.
Aid withmaintaining Policy and adhering to code of Virginia standards forthe ODGA.
Ability to plan organize and prioritize avariety of procurement processes.
Demonstrated abilityto effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Skillin the use of MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and other databasesand a state or federal electronic procurement system.
Ability to organize and maintain contract files andrecords.
Ability to work independently managing own timeand work. Required Experience
Proven work experience asa Finance Analyst or similar role.
Considerableunderstanding of Account Payables and Account Receivablesprocesses.
Good working knowledge of purchasingstrategies.
Excellent communication interpersonal andnegotiation skills.
Strong analytical thinking andproblemsolving skills.

Desired Experience
A good working knowledge of purchasingstrategies.
A solid understanding of purchasing andinvoicing systems.
A good understanding of reviewingcontracts and MOUs
