An exciting patient centred opportunity is available to join the Medical Imaging Department in Exeter at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Based at Wonford and the Nightingale Exeter site at Sowton, our Medical Imaging team provide a broad range of imaging modality services including, Plain Film X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound. As a Radiographic Assistant you will work to support the Radiographers and Radiologists across these modalities.

We are proudly in our tenth year as an accredited centre under the UKAS Quality Standards for Imaging (QSI) Accreditation Scheme, and have demonstrated a commitment to continued quality improvement for patients and staff.

Successful candidates to the role will be flexible, adaptable and patient focussed, aiming to deliver the highest standards of Clinical Care. You will be supported to develop the skills required to work in this role.

Working Pattern:  The department opens from 8am until 8pm 7 days a week, with hour services for A&E and ward services. You will work on a rota with a range of shifts allocated including 8am - 8pm, 9am - 5pm, 9am - 1pm, - on your shift pattern and working hours, you may also receive additional enhancements to your pay.

Pay:  The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 4-5 rates, inclusive of a pay award implemented from October 4. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 4 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 3-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 3/ | NHS Employers).
