Overview
Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is an organisation using light aircraft to deliver help and hope in Jesus’ name in over 30 developing countries. For more than 75 years, MAF has been transporting patients, relief workers, produce and medical supplies to the world’s remotest regions and places of deepest human need – places where flying is not a luxury but a lifeline.
We have a new opportunity working within our learning and development team for someone who can design, develop and curate training content, and improve learning and training for the whole organisation as part of the Learning and Development team.
Location: Ashford (UK) / Europe considered (part-time between 25 - 30 hours per week)
Responsibilities
Design and develop content for learning and development:
You will assess learning needs and preferences to shape content development.
Design structured outlines and develop interactive modules using cutting edge-e-learning authoring tools
Produce multimedia elements for example videos, animations and simulations to enrich learning experiences
Create supporting resources such as job aids and info-graphics.
Train and advise on digital content development and curation:
Create and conduct engaging training sessions, including webinars, to facilitate course development and learning interventions
Deliver technical training workshops or webinars to educate on digital content development tools and techniques
Provide education to subject matter experts on the utilisation of learning management systems (LMS), SCORM compliance, and other learning technologies.
Assist with all learning websites, materials and resources:
Curate and organise training resources to support learning initiatives
Maintain content on learning websites to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to quality standards
Assist with the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator and the Learning and Development team as needed

There is an occupational requirement for the job holder of this position to be a committed Christian. Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential
Learning and Development certification, Instructional design, Communications degree or equivalent
Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
Excellent organisation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
Advanced in image, audio and video editing
Experience with learning design and development
Experience using a learning management system
Ability to use online systems and learn new software
Desirable
Experience in managing people
Designing courses for culturally diverse learners
Mission or cross-cultural work or living experience
Experience in project management
Experience with media producing and directing
Experience with curriculum writing and curation
