KHRworks with a specialist consultancy that provides financial adviceand services to its established client base across London and itshome counties.

At present, they are lookingto expand their team by adding an experienced Finance Consultantwho will manage some key clients across Surrey.

The role of the Finance Consultant will be toservice the business clients within the education sector, soprevious experience providing financial advice to schools,academies and trusts would be advantageous.

Being a consultancy role you must drive andhave access to your a vehicle so that you can reach client sites.

The core deliverables of the FinanceConsultant include:

To provide training tofinance staff on the relevant finance software (PSFinancials)
To provide absence cover for Senior FinanceOfficer / Manager staff when required
Preparation ofmonthly management accounts
Assist with client budgetsand forecasts,
Assist clients and auditors with thefinancial statements and year-end audit
Advise clientson best practices based on the Academies FinancialHandbook

CandidateProfile:

Accountancy qualification - ACA orACCA Qualified preferred. Will consider PQ or QBE
Experience working in the education or charity sector
Knowledge of PS Financials/IRIS Financials software would bedesirable
Be dedicated to delivering the best possibleservice to clients
Be professional andpresentable
Have exceptional communication skills withthe ability to speak to individuals of all levels
Hold afull UK driving licence and have access to your vehicle
Be able to pass a clean enhanced DBS check (initiated and funded bythe business)

The office is based in Kent andwill be the base for ad-hoc meetings when required. On a day-to-daybasis, you will be based at your home address and must travel toclients' premises regularly. Mileage will be reimbursed to you atthe HMRC rate.
