We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Head Host to join our team for a year-long maternity cover position. As the Head Host, you will be the face of Sea Containers Restaurant, responsible for ensuring our guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they depart. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the host team, managing reservations, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor the host team, ensuring smooth operations during service hours.

Manage the reservation system, including handling bookings, cancellations, and special requests.

Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide any necessary assistance throughout their dining experience.

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour at all times, resolving any guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

Collaborate closely with the restaurant management team to optimize guest flow and seating arrangements.

Assist with training new host team members and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the host area, lobby, and entrance to create a welcoming environment.

Salary £12.94p/h plus tronc
