We are seeking an experienced Serious Injury Solicitor to join our client's legal team. As a Serious Injury Solicitor, you will be responsible for representing clients who have sustained severe and life-altering injuries due to accidents or other traumatic events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, possess excellent communication and advocacy skills, and be dedicated to securing fair compensation for individuals facing substantial physical, emotional, and financial challenges.

  1. Case Management:

    • Manage a caseload of serious injury cases, including catastrophic injuries, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and amputations.
    • Conduct thorough investigations into the circumstances surrounding each case, gathering evidence and building compelling legal arguments.

  2. Client Consultation:

    • Consult with clients to understand the extent of their injuries, medical treatment needs, and the impact on their daily lives.
    • Provide empathetic and clear legal advice, explaining the legal process and potential outcomes to clients and their families.

  3. Legal Documentation:

    • Prepare and draft legal documents, including letters of claim, pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations in all legal documentation.

  4. Negotiation and Settlement:

    • Negotiate with opposing parties, insurers, and legal representatives to secure fair and just settlements for clients.
    • Assess and advise clients on settlement offers, taking into consideration long-term medical and financial needs.

  5. Legal Research and Compliance:

    • Stay current on developments in personal injury law, case precedents, and relevant regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all aspects of case management.

  6. Client Communication:

    • Maintain regular and transparent communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing their concerns.
    • Support clients and their families through the emotional and legal challenges associated with serious injury cases.


Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor with 2-4 years of experience in serious injury law.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of personal injury laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully handling serious injury cases.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
