Job Description

Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a positive impact on young children's lives? Our fantastic new nursery in Ilkley needs passionate and dedicated nursery nurses and assistants to join their team You'll play a vital role in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and thrive. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's physical, social, and emotional development.
  • Providing attentive care and support to meet individual needs of each child.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.


RequirementsLevel 2 or 3 childcare qualification (or actively working towards one)
OR
At least 3 months' experience working in a nursery setting
A genuine love for working with children and a passion for early years education
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Patience, understanding, and a positive attitude
Flexibility and willingness to work various shifts

Requirements
Lead and inspire a team of dedicated childcare professionals to deliver outstanding care and education to children. Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards, maintaining high levels of quality and safety. Drive business growth and development through effective marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower staff. Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passionate about early years education and committed to providing the best possible care for children.
