The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Upstream Natural Resources team for an Account Executive.

We are an integral part of the end-to-end client servicing function, beginning with leading the discussions with our clients to establish their insurance requirements through to the completion of the insurance product. This often takes the form of face-to-face meetings with the client as well as the insurance market to carry out programme and structure design workshops. We work closely with the London market broker during the process and co-ordinate all stages of the placement with key stakeholders involved, which could include Captive insurers, Lenders / Legal Advisors, Engineering professionals and/or Surveyors and Valuation companies.

We are an agile working team and utilise the skills and proximity of the London market as required, to fulfil the clients’ requirements.

The role encompasses regular client and underwriter contact, in person (whether in our office or at their location), or via all other available communication method

Understand the clients’ business and their risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service. Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients, establish and maintain active relationships with these people. Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required. Liaise with clients and build strong relationships. Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients. Grow existing portfolio by identifying new from existing opportunities. Work alongside (and provide direction as appropriate) to the Natural Resources Account Handlers based in Mumbai. Provide renewal documentation with the support of Account Handlers and Brokers Respond quickly and accurately to new business introductions. Actively identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business to capitalise on account penetration and cross selling opportunities. Maintain a detailed knowledge of products and services offered by WTW to enable identification of cross selling for differing lines of business opportunities. Check policies, market presentations and client documentation as appropriate. Design programme and pricing structures to best meet the client’s needs based on knowledge of the client, the insurance market and industry sector proposition. Lead and deliver the end to end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures and service standards. Development of service plans that define the engagement and timing of engagement with the client. Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)/Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to ensure targets are met.
