Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the successful candidate to join a fast-paced operations Corporate Strategy Group on a temporary basis as a Finance Analyst. The successful candidate must have a ‘hands-on’ approach with various accounting tasks including, but not be limited to, balance sheet management, internal reporting and statutory accounts preparation. In addition, the ideal candidate will have an interest and/or experience in process development and innovation, working in line with our current Mid-Range Plan.
Specific Responsibilities:
Ability to collaborate with other teams within the organisation Balance Sheet transaction understanding and management Finance reporting and monthly meetings Month end reporting and data entry Supporting Statutory Accounts Preparation Understanding Corporate Accounting policy and enforcing rules Understanding Risk Exposure Process analysis and improvements
Person Qualities:
Essential criteria:
Previous experience of working in a fast-paced Finance Team Full/Part Accounting Qualification Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to do so Advanced Excel skills Highly motivated, using initiative to prioritize own workload Excellent organizational and time-management skills Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail Trustworthy and reliable
Desirable criteria:
Prior experience of working within an Electronics or Mechanical Manufacturing/designenvironment Previous experience working with Oracle system
